The assosiation KaJo e. V has grown: Mahilet is our sixth godchild. She was born on 4 March 2007 and will enter the 5th grade in autumn 2018. The parents' plan for the future was that Mailiet's mother would go to the Arab Emirates to work. With this money they wanted to pay for their only child's school education. Unfortunately, this did not work out. Mailiet's mother still lives in Addis Ababa. We are happy that the plan to go to the Arab Emirates was not carried out. Too tragic are the stories one hears about the work there.
Both parents are working. The mother works in the timber industry as an administrator and the father works as a day labourer. Mahilet would like to become a doctor later. We are curious to see how she will develop in the coming years.
