How much does a membership cost?

The annual membership fee is 50 euros and concessions 40 euros. The reduced contribution applies to pupils, students, apprentices and low-income people.

What are the membership fees used for?

Membership fees, as well as donations, are used exclusively to support school sponsorships in Ethiopia. Each of our godchildren has a personal godparent; however, the sponsorship contribution is not enough to cover the costs incurred. The membership fees thus supplement the sponsorship contributions and ensure the best possible care and support for our sponsored children. Continue reading

Who can become a member?

Everyone can become a member of KaJo e.V. Even minors can join us, but in this case the written consent of the parent or legal guardian is necessary. This can be submitted by e-mail or by post.

What kind of consideration do I get?

Members are regularly informed about current developments of the association. Once a year, a member general meeting takes place in December, in which each member is entitled to vote. Of course, all members can actively contribute their ideas and commitment at any time.

How can the membership be terminated?

The resignation of a member is only on 31.12. every year possible. It is made by written declaration to the Board of Directors, subject to a notice period of four week
